SYNOPSIS :

Alors que les incendies et l’urbanisation menacent les forêts boliviennes, Rusber, ancien enfant des rues devenu soigneur animalier, entreprend de finir ses études vétérinaires tout en aidant au déménagement du refuge pour singes dirigé par sa mère adoptive. Tiraillé entre sa loyauté envers elle, son attachement aux singes et ses propres désirs, il cherche un fragile équilibre entre soin, confinement et liberté, pour eux comme pour lui-même.

GASPARD RENAULT

After qualifying as an assistant director in Paris, Gaspard Renault gained, between 2009 and 2015, solid professional experience in directing fiction and documentary films.

Keen to refine his perspective and writing skills for the situations he wishes to film, he began studying anthropology at Lumière Lyon 2 University in 2016.

After completing his master’s degree, 2021 marked the end of his PhD and the start of writing his first feature-length documentary.
